She searched the streets of Calcutta for the homeless, sick and uncared, for........
a frail, tiny women heart held a vast outpouring of compassion and love.
She searched the streets of Calcutta for the homeless, sick and uncared, for........
a frail, tiny women heart held a vast outpouring of compassion and love.
Those whom society, spurned with cotempt and revultion,
she embraced the poor people with warmth and tremendous love.
Miilions have walked the roads
that she walked and crossed,
the slums that she crossed,
Millions continued to do so - But
None stopped --- as she stopped
to lend a helping hand,
to comfort the sufferings,
to give solace to the dying.
"I see GOD in every human being" -
is what she said.
This sums up the difference between us,
mere mortals and her -
"The apostle of love
the saint of love."
Her death was nothing but
a continuation of her life,
the completion of her life,
the surrendering of her body.
But her heart and soul will live forever,
for her death was nothing but going to heavenly abode,
to meet Almighty GOD
to feel HIS magic in heaven.
"What greater tribute can we pay her."

Thank You very much for expressing your gratitude towards "Mother Teresa"...really waited long to see a comment on this piece of writing...was always wondering if people like to read such poems too...[:)]
Even I felt nice to see such a nice piece written for her. You know when started the movement people ask how can we help such a lrge number of people, and she said help one person a day...thats from where she started and had left a revolution behind her...
So help out one person..u would feel a sene of achievement...
take care
Rahul
